15TH TWO PEARLS HALF MARATHON”: RUNNING AND FASCINATION
The 15th “Two Pearls Half Marathon”, isn’t only a race, but it’s a beautiful adventure along the coast near Tigullian Sea also. From first edition race has conquered enthusiasm, “people of running”, great athletes, in the name of running, scenic landscape, discovering of Ligurian sea and hills. Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino are marvelous and touristic cities, rich of story, ecological and naturalistic sites (like Portofino Regional Park), touristic attraction. On 2nd Sunday of February you, dear runner, can run in a scenic ambient, on a flat road near sands, sea, near architectonical Abbazia Cervara, near Paraggi bay (famous all over the world), with a nice mix of nature, agonistic spirit, within enthusiastic people who loves sport. You run along the magnificent road that joins “Santa” and “Portofino”. Many great runners have won the half marathon and given great fame to the “sporting kermesse” managed by Atletica Due Perle and Nicola Fenelli. Over the years you’ve seen Olympic champion of marathon 2004 Stefano Baldini, european champion 2014 Daniele Meucci, other great names like Faniel Eyob, Ruggero Pertile, Emma Quaglia, Valeria Straneo. On 1st February, Saturday, you can participate to Portofino run and CorriSanta (10 km), another nice options of sport and “Italian allegria”. So…..We need you!
